About the Organization

The Friends of the Library organization was developed as a way to support and raise awareness for the Bowie Public Library. Among their other fund-raising and awareness efforts, the group hosts a book sale on the second weekend of March and November, and also hosts a luncheon on the first Saturday of May every year.

The Friends of the Bowie Library Board offers the public two (2) book sales each year, one in the Spring and the other during the Fall months. Watch the calendar of events for all upcoming events including the Book Sale.
