General Event Overview

Bowie’s Fantasy of Lights Christmas Festival will be held on the first Saturday in December. Join us for a festive and fun evening in downtown Bowie! The parade begins at 7 p.m. and will travel multiple streets in downtown Bowie including Mason, Wise, and Smythe Streets.

Theme: This year's theme is "Sweet Tidings of Gingerbread."  The use of Christmas lights is encouraged for this lighted parade.

Prizes will be awarded for overall Sweepstakes Winner, and 1st Place and 2nd Place in each of the following categories: Community/Non Profit, Business, Equestrian, and Decorated Vehicle as well as presenting a First Responders Award.

FREE Photos with Santa will be held at the Bowie Fire Department during the "Pancakes with Santa" breakfast along with many other family fun activities throughout the day.
