We want to see sweet gingerbread decorations for this upcoming 2023 holiday season. Creative Cakes does a wonderful display of gingerbread houses representative of the city of Bowie, Texas now let's continue the theme for our winter Sip & Stroll with me on Friday evening, December 1, 2023 starting at 5 p.m. with a stroll through some more sweet gingerbread. Time to start planning! We are already excited for December!

Bowie’s Fantasy of Lights Christmas Festival will be held on the first Saturday in December. Join us for a festive and fun evening in downtown Bowie! The parade begins at 7 p.m. and will travel multiple streets in downtown Bowie including Mason, Wise, and Smythe Streets. Theme: This year's theme is "Sweet Tidings of Gingerbread." The use of Christmas lights is encouraged for this lighted parade. Prizes will be awarded for overall Sweepstakes Winner, and 1st Place and 2nd Place in each of the following categories: Community/Non Profit, Business, Equestrian, and Decorated Vehicle as well as presenting a First Responders Award.
